Thank you to all our dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and energy six days a week!

Grace Community Food Pantry thrives on the grace and hard work of volunteers like you. If you have a desire to serve your neighbors and contribute to our community in Flagler County, we have an opportunity that you will love and feel great about.

  • We welcome volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, skills, and interests. Our volunteer needs include:

    • Day of Distribution Service Personnel

    • Preparation of Grocery Bags for Distribution

    • Inventory and Stocking

    • Recipient Relations and Check-in

    • Logistics

    • Communication

    • Fundraising

    • Computer Skills

    • Any other skills you can share

    Experienced volunteers are always available to help, and in no time, you'll feel like part of the Grace Community Food Pantry family. Volunteers will be provided with a calendar of days and hours of operation. There's something happening at the pantry every day of the week, so no matter what time you have available, we can use your help.

    Important Note for Volunteers Under 18:

    Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their volunteer shifts.

  • Your help is vital in supporting our mission to serve the community. Here are the days and times we need volunteers:

    Monday:

    • 9:00 AM — 11:00 AM: Bagging for our student backpack Ministry (Twice a month)

    Tuesday:

    • 9:00 AM — 11:00 AM: Bagging (Every week)

    • Home Delivery: Substitutes needed on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, starting at 8:00 AM.

    Wednesday:

    • 9:00 AM — 11:00 AM: Bagging (Every week)

    • Delivery of Backpacks for Students

    Thursday:

    • 9:00 AM — 12:30 PM: Helping with food drives and other items (Every week)

    Saturday:

    • 8:30 AM — 2:30 PM: Volunteers needed every weekend (except holidays)

    Sunday:

    • 10:00 AM — 4:00 PM: Volunteers needed every weekend (except holidays)

    • 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Sign-in and registration assistance required. Let us know if you're interested.

    If you cannot commit to the entire time on Saturdays and Sundays, please inform us of your availability, and we'll schedule accordingly.

    • Respect Pantry Items: All pantry items are strictly off-limits to volunteers for personal use.

    • Food Distribution: Volunteers eligible to receive food will receive a pre-packed box at the end of their shift. Individual box assembly is not permitted.

    • No Personal Requests: Volunteers may not take items for family members or neighbors.

    • Compliance: Failure to follow these rules will result in being asked to leave the facility. No exceptions.

    • Under 18 Policy: Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their volunteer shifts.

    • Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes and appropriate attire are required.
